Horticulture Development Foundation, the sister concern of the historic Agri Horticultural Society of India, founded in 1820 with a glorious past and creditable history, the premier Society continues its dedicated service towards the promotion of horticulture, agriculture, and focusing on Medicinal Herbal plants in India. The liberalized policy and economic reforms by the Government have opened numerous opportunities for development and export of agri-products and horticultural  items which are considered as the “extreme focus segment” today.

The organization is also involved in the creation and maintenance of distinctive & attractive landscapes, uniquely and soulfully suited to match the environmental issues. HDF has a  team of highly motivated personnel in various capacities providing a variety of services using the latest technologies, to ensure that our work has met or exceeded client expectations.

HDF’s  major contribution in the field of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants  is  publication of  the book 'Encyclopedia of Himalayan Medicinal Plants'. Volume I from alphabet A – C is has been released and Vol II and III follows by the end of the year 2008.
